What is TAS?: TAS (True Authentic Self) is a content authentication platform. It lets creators digitally sign their photos and videos with a cryptographic signature embedded as a scannable QR code overlay. Anyone can scan a TAS signature to verify the content's origin and see details about the creator.
How do I create an account?: Download the TAS app and tap Sign Up on the login screen. You can register with your email address or sign in with Apple.
How do I connect my social accounts?: Go to your Profile, tap the settings icon (⚙) in the top-right corner, then tap Connected Accounts. From there you can link Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), TikTok, and Facebook.
How do I sign a piece of content?: Tap the + button on the home screen, select a photo or video from your library or record new content, then tap Sign & Share. TAS will apply your signature and generate a scannable QR overlay.
How do I verify someone else's content?: Scan the QR code overlay on any TAS-signed piece of content using the in-app scanner or your phone's camera. You will be taken to a verification page showing the creator's identity and when the content was signed.
What are the subscription tiers?: TAS offers three tiers: Free, Basic, and Creator. Each tier unlocks additional features such as higher resolution signatures, advanced placement options, and extended analytics.

Beta notice — subscriptions: TAS is currently in beta. Paid subscriptions (Basic and Creator) are not yet available for purchase. During the beta, premium access is available only to invited beta testers. Paid plans will open to all users once the beta period ends.

How do I delete my account?: Open the TAS app, go to your Profile, tap the settings icon (⚙), scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. Confirm when prompted. This permanently deletes all personal data associated with your account and cannot be undone.; If you no longer have access to the app, email [email protected] and we will delete your data manually within 30 days.
